[Also in Division G2] Particulate pigment dispersions in methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer are prepared by adding the pigment (primrose yellow, Monastral blue and Duol carmine specified) to a solution of gelatine and dextran, adding to the mixture a solution of the copolymer, decanting and filtering and grinding the residue into particles in which less than 50% have a diameter of less than 1 micron. The particles are used to develop photopolymerizable images (see Division G2). |
