摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optical transmission path to be specified on a terminal side having interference even in an optical communication network having a plurality of pieces of network-termination apparatus such as a passive double star format optical communication network. <P>SOLUTION: Inspection light reflectors 1071-1077 reflect inspection lights having wavelengths of &lambda;<SB>1</SB>, &lambda;<SB>2</SB>, &lambda;<SB>3</SB>, &lambda;<SB>1</SB>and &lambda;<SB>2</SB>, &lambda;<SB>1</SB>and &lambda;<SB>3</SB>, &lambda;<SB>2</SB>and &lambda;<SB>3</SB>, and &lambda;<SB>1</SB>to &lambda;<SB>3</SB>, respectively. Inspection lights of &lambda;<SB>1</SB>, &lambda;<SB>2</SB>and &lambda;<SB>3</SB>being outputted simultaneously from inspection light sources 1021-1023 are reflected by the inspection light reflectors 1071-1077, and are received by an inspection light receiver 106. When the reflected inspection light is observed by the inspection light receiver 106, light intensity differs for each wavelength depending on whether interference occurs in a terminal side optical transmission path since the inspection light reflectors 1071-1077 have different combination of wavelengths to be reflected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
