<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission apparatus that is stably activated even if a plurality of power supplies start up in an unspecified manner, in the optical transmission apparatus using multiple power supplies for each circuit element. <P>SOLUTION: The supply voltages of the plurality of power supplies are monitored each, it is verified that all power supplies started up, a signal- processing circuit is set to be a specific standby state after specific time, and further a transmission/reception element drive circuit is allowed to operate after specific time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
