<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth magnet powder having high anisotropic property, which is subjected to high temperature hydrogen heat treatment. <P>SOLUTION: An RFe(Ga+Nb)B alloy is subjected to a high temperature hydrogen heat treatment and comprises a rare earth element of 12 to 15 at.% (hereinafter referred to as R) including yttrium (Y), boron of 5.5 to 8 at.% (hereinafter referred to as B) gallium of 0.01 to 1.0 at.% (hereinafter referred to as G), niobium of 0.01 to 0.6 at.% (hereinafter referred to as Nb), and inevitable impurities and the balance consists of Fe. A magnetic anisotropic bond magnet is formed by compression molding a magnetic anisotropic magnet powder of the RFe(Ga+Nb)B alloy and a thermosetting resin. The maximum energy product ((BH) max) is 167.9 to 200.5 kJ/m<SP>3</SP>(21.1 to 25.0 MGOe). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
