<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe closing device capable of certainly sending a pipe closing member into the drain pipe of a urinal up to an arbitrary position even if a urolith adheres to the inside of the pipe and expanding an elastic member to close the pipe and removing the urolith by a chemical agent. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe closing device comprises a rigid wire capable of being freely advanced through the pipe, a leading end guide element provided to the leading end of the wire and having the same rigidity as the wire, a pipe closing member having the expansible and contractable elastic member provided between the leading end guide element and the wire and an air supply pipe connected to the pipe closing member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
