<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which can reduce the number of receiving antennas or enables error rate improvement and power saving. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving equipment is provided with N-number (N>; =2) of receiving antennas, a propagation path characteristic estimating apparatus for estimating a characteristic coefficient of each of the propagation paths from L-number (L>; 2) of transmission antenna, where L-number of transmission signals are transmitted out of M-number of transmission antennas to N-number of the receiving antennas; an antenna interference eliminating vector calculating device for calculating a weight vector from the estimation value; an antenna interference eliminating circuit for extracting a signal, in which two or more signal components caused by a transmitting signal are superposed, by eliminating signal components caused by transmitting signals of at most L-2 (L-1<; N) from a signal in which one transmitting signal is superposed after traveling each propagation path, by multiplying outputs of N-number of the receiving antenna by the weight vector and adding them; a signal estimation weight calculating device for calculating an estimation value of a receiving signal contained in the antenna interference eliminating circuit; and a separation decoding circuit for separating and decoding individual transmission signals from output signals of the antenna interference eliminating circuit, from the calculated weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
