Production of mineral fibres, particularly mineral wood The process employs a rapidly rotating centrifuge disc with a horizontal axis, the melt flowing onto the periphery of the centrifuge disc and the centrifuged part being blown in an opposite direction to the rotation of the disc by a jet mounted below the disc. The direction of the jet is tangential to the periphery of the disc. Pref. the direction of the jet is adjustable.
