1284306 α-Amino-#-caprolactam TEIJIN Ltd 2 Dec 1969 [5 Dec 1968 (2) 13 Dec 1968 2 April 1969 22 July 1969 7 Aug 1969] 58905/69 Heading C2C Mixtures of L- and D-α-amino-#-caprolactam are resolved into their optical isomers by using as resolving agents optically active N-benzoyl or p-nitro-N-benzoyl-glutamic acids in, as resolving solvent, homogeneous liquid media containing at least 90% by volume of solvents selected from water, C 1-4 aliphatic alcohols, acetone and ethylene glycol thereby precipitating more-difficultly-soluble salts, by separating these salts and by decomposing them into their components and/or by separating the more easily salts from the liquid media and decomposing them. The salts produced may be decomposed with hydrohalic acids or a cationexchange resin containing free sulphonic groups. |
