<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new high-performance ferrite sintered magnet which is improved in productivity as it is kept as high in magnetic properties as a conventional ferrite sintered magnet that is sintered in an excess oxygen atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: The new high-performance ferrite sintered magnet is manufactured through a method wherein ferrite sintered magnet material powder is molded into a molded body, the molded body is burned and then subjected to a thermal treatment at a temperature of 750 to below 1000°C for the formation of a ferrite sintered magnet having a magnetoplumbite crystal structure phase as a main phase, or the ferrite sintered magnet material powder is molded, burned and processed into a burned body with a processed part. The burned body with a processed part is thermally treated at a temperature of 750 to below 1000°C for the formation of a ferrite sintered magnet having a magnetoplumbite crystal structure phase as a main phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
