<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technique for a sandwich panel having a biodegradable property and performance such as a strength and the like required for a panel. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the sandwich panel 2 is equipped with a process for preparing at least a first board 4 and a second board 4 which contain a biodegradable material as a forming material; a process for preparing a plurality of core materials 8 for holding the directional property ranging over a specific length by having a structure derived from a plant wherein small tube-like bodies 14 gather having a specific directional property as a main body; a process for providing a state wherein a plurality of the core materials 8 are arranged between the first board 4 and the second board 4 which are arranged being opposed to each other so that the direction of each core material 8 almost conforms to a distance direction between the oppositely arranged boards 4 in each core material 8 and a biodegradable adhesive agent is supplied between those boards 4; and a process wherein the board 4 and a plurality of core materials 8 are pressurized and heated under the state obtained in the abovementioned process, the biodegradable adhesive agent is softened or molten to integrate the board 4 with a plurality of core materials 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
