<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for rehabilitating and reinforcing leg muscles by up and down rocking movements of this seesaw-type functional recovery apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is characterized in that a pair of wooden columns, beams, upper bracket fixed on the beam, lower bracket that works as a seesaw, both leading edges of the upper and lower brackets are connected by a tensile spring to make use of a reaction of the spring for allowing up and down movements of the legs by the own weight as well as the strength to be awared of, further the legs coupled with a string to rock back and forth through working together alternately with the up and down movement of the legs as in the case of a swing and gait in an attempt to rehabilitate and reinforce the leg muscles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
