<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene composition which is excellent in acid resistance and can be suitably used for a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, for example, a proton conductive membrane in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell or a water electrolysis cell. <P>SOLUTION: The polyarylene composition comprises a sulfonated polyarylene polymer, a hindered phenol having a molecular weight of 500 or more and a hindered amine having a molecular weight of 500 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
