Parting layer for cast or vacuum moulds

摘要

For moulding strongly adhering materials such as polyurethane foam, the mould surface is coated with a parting layer of fluorinated polyethylene, e.g. Teflon (RTM), esp. PTFE dispersion type S (RTM). Pref. the mould is manufactured from an epoxy resin, esp. Rezolin (RTM) of sufficient thermal capacity to accept the PTFE parting layer.
