<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a substance from natural products having collagen production promoting effect, hyaluronic acid production promoting effect or collagenase inhibiting effect, and also to obtain a collagen production promoter, a hyaluronic acid production promoter, a collagenase inhibitor and an anti-aging agent containing the substance as their active ingredient, as well as a skin care preparation and a food or beverage product containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Extracts from one or two or more kinds of plants selected from the group consisting of Nyctanthes albortristis, Piper chaba, Anthocephalus indicus and Crotalaria cytisoides are included in the collagen production promoter, the hyaluronic acid production promoter, the collagenase inhibitor and the anti-aging agent as their active ingredients, and are mixed into the skin care preparation and the food or beverage product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
