SKIN CARE COMPOSITION FOR EXTERNAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shin care composition for external use showing an excellent skin-moisturizing effect and skin dryness-improving effect which moisturizes a dry skin and inhibits itch and eczema.

SOLUTION: This skin care composition for external use contains (A) ceramides, (B) at least one polyol selected from polyols each having a valency of ≥2 and (C) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of antiphlogistic compounds and aitinflammatory compounds, wherein the weight ratio of the component (A)/component (B) is from 1/100 to 100/1. The skin care composition further contains at least one plant extract.
