<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can highly accurately correct irregularities of a light exposure for each light source to correct density irregularities and adjust the light exposure and which uses an LED for the light source of an exposure means. <P>SOLUTION: Density adjustment data is stored, and at least one of the current, the voltage and the exposure time of an exposure control signal is corrected so that a relation between the light exposure of the light source controlled by the exposure control signal for controlling lighting an LPH becomes linear.
