<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rupture disk for an inflator hardly causing fragments. <P>SOLUTION: In the inflator for inflating an inflated article by a pressurizing medium, the rupture disk for the inflator shields and blocks a gap between a part filled with the pressurizing medium and kept at high pressure and a part filled with no pressurizing medium and kept at normal pressure. The rupture disk for the inflator is mounted to the inflator by fixing its peripheral edge. The inflator has one or two and more items from among: (a) the ratio (diameter/thickness) of diameter to thickness is 14 to 50, (b) tensile strength is 880 to 1100 N/mm<SP>2</SP>, and (c) elongation is 25%. When pressure is received, the remaining part except for the fixed peripheral edge drops integrally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
