<p>In preparation of films, foils, coatings, laminates, fibres, impregnants, comprising or containing polyurethanes (which have been prepared in known manner), polyurethane aqueous dispersions are used to which water-insoluble but organic-solvent-soluble, anti-microbial agents (e.g. 2,2-dihydroxy-5,5-dichlorodiphenylmethane) have been added, prior to the dispersion step, in amount of 0.001 to 5 wt.% (with respect to polyurethane). Compsns. are resistant to bleeding-out or leaching-out of the antimicrobial agent since it is dissolved in the polyurethane.</p> |
