PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-quality purification structure representing a novel structure for an upper water and lower water to be easily exchangeable and for aquatic plants to be grown to adsorb harmful matter such as nitrogen, phosphorus and the like in the water, and also provide a water-quality purification method. SOLUTION: The features of the plant-growth floating mat and the method for purifying water-quality by the use of the plant-growth floating mat are described below. Rod-shaped buoyancy-regulating body, 10, 10 made of synthetic resins is inserted between the rims of a middle layer reinforcing assemblage 1 making synthetic resin in a rod form to serve as rectangular rim. A base material 2 is formed in a wavy mat form so that a capillary action caused by monofilaments of the synthetic resin may not occur. In the wavy recessed part 11 of the base material 2 plant-growth pots 3, 3 made of natural resins are held, and each member is covered with a surface net 4 made of synthetic resin with large meshes from the top surface. The base material 2 is knotted in a lattice curb by a bottom surface rope 6 from the bottom surface. The end part which is turned on the other side of the surface net 4 is fixed, and a torus-shaped loop knot 5 is formed at the end portion. |
