PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of quality of an exposed image in an image exposing device. SOLUTION: An image exposing device is constituted as follows: a shutter driving means SD drives a PLZT light shutter to be switched between a condition for passing a light from a light source 20 and a condition for blocking the light. The shutter driving means SD performs an exposing operation for forming an exposed image on a photosensitive substances PS by a passing light of a light shutter array having PLZT light shutters arranged therein by allowing each of the PLZT light shutters to open or close based on image data for exposing. The shutter driving means SD allows each of the PLZT light shutters to execute an exposing preparation operation in a light emission condition corresponding to a preset gradation density prior to the exposing operation. The image exposing device is equipped with an exposing managing means EC for executing a waiting operation for waiting the start of the exposing operation based on the image data when the exposing preparation operation is restarted after the exposing operation or the exposing preparation operation is stopped. |
