PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printer system for automatically updating software through the Internet. SOLUTION: In the network printer system 1, a computer printer network 120 for managing a plurality of network printers and an information management server 110 are connected by the Internet 130. The information management server 110 manages the Internet information of the respective computer-printer networks 120, has various kinds of software required for operations loaded, and manages version information, and when a version is updated, requests the updating of the software to the respective computer printer networks 120 through the Internet 130. The computer printer network 120 gives an affirmative response for receiving an updating request to the information management server 110 when a prescribed condition is satisfied, the information management server 110 transmits the software corresponding to the affirmative response and the computer printer network 120 automatically updates the software. |
