PREPARATION METHOD OF SEPARATOR/ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL ELEMENT

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a separator/electrode assembly for an electrochemical element and an electrochemical element containing the separator/electrode assembly prepared by the method are provided, to prepare the separator/electrode assembly for an electrochemical element having at least one lithium-intercalating electrode for improving the power of cells. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of finely dispersing electrochemically active materials insoluble in the polymer in the polymer matrix; coating the polymer matrix containing the active materials directly on the surface of layer comprising porous separator materials or solid ion conductive materials; and drying the coated one. Preferably the polymer is fluorinated polyvinylidene and polyfluoropropylene; and the solvent is N-methyl-1,2-pyrimidinone or acetone.
