PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording sheet which has a small fading of a recorded image due to an influence of external conditions such as a moisture, heat or the like at a high sensitivity and which does not bring about fogging. SOLUTION: The heat sensitive recording sheet comprises at least an undercoating layer, a heat sensitive color developing layer, and an overcoating layer sequentially provided on a support. In this sheet, the undercoating layer contains a temperature sensitive gelatinized latex. The color developing layer contains as a leuco compound, dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran and 2- anilino-6'-(N-ethyl-N-isopenicillamino(-3'-methylpyro(phthalide-3,9'-x anthene), as a developer, 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone, and as a color developing accelerator, an oxalate di-(P-methylbenzyl). The overcoating layer contains as a main component, a water soluble polymer or water insoluble polymer or both. |
