A collapsible signal assembly has components removably secured to the base of the assembly in a manner to prevent unauthorized removal of the components. The securing means for all but a "key" component are blocked from removal by the close presence of an adjacent component, and the securing means for the "key" component is protectively covered by a lockable guard.
