Novel thiocarbonates of the formula (CH3)2 N-(CH2)3-O-CO-S-R wherein R is the radical of an aliphatic hydrocarbon, and their salts with inorganic or organic acids are provided having fungicidal and fungistatic effects and the method of making the same.
