A vacuum and electrical connecting arrangement for an electrostatic printing machine of the type employing a belt assembly module which is adapted to be mounted and dismounted in the machine. The belt module is equipped with a vacuum conduit connection device which can be attached to and detached from a mating device mounted on a fixed frame of the machine. There is also a metallic brush on the frame serving as an electrical connecting device for the conductive belt substrate. Both the vacuum connection and the electrical connection are made automatically when the assembly is inserted into place.
