PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless operation due to incapability for a passenger to ride an elevator because of far distance to a landing in case of automatically registering a landing call and a destination call on the elevator by discriminating a specific person by a fingerprint detector at an entrance. SOLUTION: A resident of an upper floor in a building 1 arrives at the entrance to input fingerprints by the fingerprint detector 5. When result of collation of the fingerprints is acceptable, a landing call at an entrance floor is automatically registered after passage of time required for run from its position to the landing 8 of the elevator on the entrance floor. When the passenger arrives at the landing 8, therefore, the landing call is automatically registered, or a door is opened for standby. As a car 12 arrives at the entrance floor, the destination call on a residential floor corresponding to the fingerprints is automatically registered. |
