PURPOSE: A method for sterilization is provided to sterilize food and other stuff for sanitation using high heat and ultraviolet ray lamp. CONSTITUTION: A high heat from a heater and an electromagnetic wave from a magnetron are radiated to a cooking chamber to cook food. A controlling portion has a program to sterilize using ultraviolet ray lamp and high heat from the heater. The program comprises a step of sterilizing with a high heat from the heater. Then, the ultraviolet ray lamp is turned on for a certain time to sterilize.
