PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for electric commerce which prevents illegality such as passing oneself off as another person and enables the electric commerce by simple operation. SOLUTION: A UIM 200 to be mounted in a movable device 300 has a random number and an authentication algorithm characteristic to each UIM 200 stored therein. When receiving an ordering number from a POS server 500 through the device 300 (step S5→step S6), the UIM 200 obtains an answer Ans 2 from the ordering number and the random number according to the authentication algorithm.
