PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet, with which the bleeding of a printed image is hard to develop and which is suitable for a printing with a pigment ink. SOLUTION: In the ink transmitting layer 13 of the recording sheet 10, 10 pts.wt. or more and less than 100 pts.wt. of a nonionic surface active agent mainly consisting of an amine-based compound is added to 100 pts.wt. of non- water-soluble component mainly consisting of an inorganic filler and a binder. As the ink coated onto the ink transmitting layer does not spread laterally but goes straight on towards the direction of the depth of the sheet and is absorbed, the bleeding (or the binding) in the printed image formed on the recording sheet with the ink hardly develops. |
