PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a stretchable range hood which is capable of securing sufficient air permeability even in a double filter and displaying a filtering function as a filter. SOLUTION: This filter for a stretchable range hood is constituted of a first filter plate having a mesh area with a number of small holes formed on the entire area and a second filter plate having a mesh area formed on the entire area likewise, fitted to the back of the first filter plate, the forward-to- rear length of the filter being adjustable through a setscrew by a sliding action. In this filter, a means to form a gap between both the filter plates by providing a rising part on both sides, in the sliding direction, of at least one of the filter plates, is used. Further, a means to form a bent part at each of the double side edge part of the first filter plate and the double side edge part of the second filter plate is used. |
