PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical insertion wirework, properly flexible corresponding to various curved portions existing in blood vessels, capable of pushing in the blood vessels, without buckling, and controllable transfer of substantially all rotation, given to the base end, to the front end, and superior in tactile reaction permitting a phenomenon happing at the front end to be sensed at the base end. SOLUTION: The medical insertion wirework comprises a core having a plurality of core wirework main wire portions and wirework intermediate portions for connecting the core wirework main wire portions. The intermediate portion of the core wirework has smaller bending rigidity than the main wire portion at its terminal connected to the intermediate portion. |
