PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a carbonaceous material very useful as a agricultural material and pyroligneous acid without causing air pollution at a low cost by carbonizing an organic raw materials which should naturally be disposed. SOLUTION: Carbonization at a low temperature of not higher than 400 deg.C in a short period of time is realized by mixing phosphoric acid and/or a phosphate as the attaching chemical with an organic raw material and, simultaneously, all evaporating components to be generated during the heat treatment are cooled by a condenser 24 and collected, and useful pyroligneous acid is simultaneously recovered while preventing the generation of air pollutants such as smoke. |
