<p>PURPOSE:To permit proper discharge of granulated slag slurry by calculating the amt. of the granulated slag flowing into a settling tank based on the temp. of molten slag, the temp. of cooling water, the flow of cooling water and the temp. of granulated slag, and controlling the number of operating pump and the number of revolutions of pumps. CONSTITUTION:The temp. of the molten slag in a trough 1 is detected with a sensor TS1, and the temp. of cooling water is detected with a sensor TS2. The temp. of granulated slag is detected with a sensor TS3, and the flow of the cooling water is detected with a water meter WM. The respective detected values are outputted to the 1st arithmetic part 51. In the part 51, the amt. of molten slag is calculated at a constant timing and is outputted to the 2nd arithmetic part 52, where the required rate of discharge from a settling tank 3a is calculated and is outputted to the 3rd arithmetic part 53. In the part 53, the number of operating pump is calculated and is outputted to a controller 60. The controller 60 emits control signals to the motors M of respective pumps P3 based on the signal of the number of operating units outputted from said part and controls the driving and stopping of the pumps P3.</p> |
