<p>A photographic support material includes a base paper upon which a polyolefin coating is coated on at least one side. The coating includes titanium dioxide therein and at least one alkaline earth metal oxide in an amount of about 0.05-20% by weight of the coating, preferably calcium and/or magnesium oxide, and/or an alkaline earth metal carbonate in an amount of about 0.05-10% by weight of the coating, preferably calcium and/or magnesium carbonate.</p> |
