PURPOSE:When heating a lead tube, to facilitate the shrinkage fitting to the inner tube of a case for carrying the radiocative material by employing such structure where the entirety is inflated uniformly. CONSTITUTION:The receiving table 6 for supporting the lead tube 5 is arranged movably in the random direction in parallel with the floor face 3 through many steel balls 1 on a circular plate 4 provided on the floor face 3 in a heating furnace 2. When employing a plurality of such tables 6 to support the lower face of said tube 5 and to heat the lead 5 to the predetermined temperature, for example 90-100 deg.C, no restricting force is applied on the lower face, thereof the inflation rates are made same at the upper and the lower sections of the lead 5. Under this state, the lead 5 is held by means of a suspension band splitted into two, and the lead 5 is shrinkage fitted sequentially one by one to the inner tube of the casc. |
