PURPOSE:To minimize a reduction of a service area by switching a transmitting output to an optimum radio parameter at transmission speeds which are different in a selective calling number and its display information. CONSTITUTION:In a system by which transmission speeds of a selective calling number information and display information are different from each other, a calling device 41 has a function for inserting switching information for selecting so as to switch one from two transmission speeds, into a bit synchronizing signal part of a code string of the selective calling number information. An FSK modulator 45 switches at least one of a deviation quantity of frequency of a transmitter 11, and an offset frequency. As a result, the deterioration of the receiving sensitivity is suppressed to a minimum, and a reduction of a service area is minimized. |
