PURPOSE:To prevent water from flowing into a turbine when steam pressure lowers by a method wherein the output of a pressure drop detector in one system among a plurality of steam systems of a steam turbine is also inputted in the predetermined ratio to another system in order to throttle a valve in another system. CONSTITUTION:The output of a pressure drop detector 103 of one system in the pressure drop protection device 100 of a steam turbine, in which a plurality of steam systems are provided, is inputted through a counter 107 to the lower value priority gate 115 of a protective circuit in another system. Thus, not only a steam regulating valve in the system, in which abnormality has occured, but also a steam regulating valve in another system can be throttled, resulting in enabling to prevent water from flowing into the turbine. |
