PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy of fuel as well as the linearity of fuel injection amount by a method wherein a plurality of grooves are provided on the surface of a movable iron core, which is abutted against a stopper, and the grooves are communicated with a fuel path and a fuel chamber. CONSTITUTION:The movable iron core 11 is provided with eight grooves 14 on the surface P abutting against the stopper 6 as shown by the diagram. According to the arrangement of these grooves 14, a pressure difference between the fuel path B and the fuel chamber Q is constant at all times during the valve is being opened or closed. On the other hand, the fuel is stagnated in the grooves 14 at all times, therefore, a cacuum condition, readily caused in prior art, may be eliminated. |
