PURPOSE:To obtain a support having good reproducibility by uniting a mixed liquid tank and gel polymerizing tank for preparing a polyacrylamide gel to one body and providing a water jacket thereto to permit easy temp. control. CONSTITUTION:A mixed liquid tank and gel polymerizing tank 5 for manufacturing a polyacrylamide gel are united to one body and a water jacket 6 is provided around the same. The tank is connected to an electronic constant hot- water circulator 16. The temp. and circulation time of the circulating water are set by a sequencer 17. A glass plate for preparing the gel is inserted into a device 18 for preparing the gel having a concn. gradient and thereafter the jacket 6 is maintained at a low temp. The mixed liquids for preparing the gel are respectively fed into vessels 1, 2 and are fed through the circulator 18 into the tank 5. The circulating water is heated to a high temp. right after the end of the feeding to accelerate a polymn. reaction. The gel having a concn. gradient with less variance in performance is thus obtd. and the reproducibility of an electrophoresist image is improved.
