PURPOSE:To treat an overlap end properly by converting output voltages of three couples of voltage output type transmission system photoelectric tube fitted on the top and reverse surface of cloth, film, etc., into digital signals, and controlling the position of a body to be processed. CONSTITUTION:Projection parts 3a-3c of projecting devices 1a-1c, photodetection parts 6a-6c of photodetecting devices 8a-8c, and through holes 4a-4c and 5a-5c of a cloth receiving plate are arranged successively at specific intervals perpendicularly to the body 29 to be processed, and a photodetection part 8 is connected to a controller 14 through an analog signal selecting device 10 and a signal converting device 12. An operating contactless relay 18 is opened and closed with the output signal of the controller 14 and an operating cylinder 25 is put in operation through a zigzagging preventing device 22 to correct the position of the body 29 to be processed. Consequently, an overlap end is held properly by performing automatic control so that the overlap end is invariably between the through holes 4a and 4b and output voltages of the photodetection parts 8a-8c satisfy conditions of 8b=8c, 8b>8a, and 8c>8a. |
