发明名称 GAS SEPARATION COMPOSITE MEMBRANE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a gas separation composite membrane excellent in a gas permeation speed and gas separation selectivity, by forming a high-molecular thin membrane to the surface of a polyphenylene sulfide microporous membrane. CONSTITUTION:Polyphenylene sulfide excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength is formed into a microporous support membrane with a thickness of 2mum or less. As said support membrane, one having micro-pores with a homogenous pore size, homogenous pore distribution density and a large void ratio is optimum. The material of said membrane comprises poly(p-phenylene sulfide) containing 90mol% or more of p-phenylene sulfide having permeability of 10<-5>- 1cm<3>(STP)/cm<2>.sec.cmHg. A thin membrane layer comprising a polymer, which can be formed into a continuous membrane having gas permeability or gas separation capacity and free from a pinhole, is formed to the surface of the microporous membrane to obtain a gas separation composite membrane.
