PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spout assembly in which a hermetic sealing member sealing an opening of a container having liquid contents therein is prevented from being separated by vibrations while the containers are transported in a package or by water hammering arising from falling off during handling, and in which the contents in the container can be prevented therewith from leaking. SOLUTION: The spout assembly comprises a spout main body having a cylindrical part with an external thread to be engaged with a cap provided at its outer circumference, a reclosable cap having a top panel and a first skirt part dangling from the outer periphery of the top panel with an internal thread to be engaged with the spout main body provided at its internal wall, and a hermetic sealing member for sealing an opening of the cylindrical part. An initial hermetic sealing is made by the hermetic sealing member while the hermetic sealing on reclosing is made by engagement between the external wall of an annular second skirt part dangling from the top panel of the cap and the internal wall of the cylindrical part of the spout main body, a seal holding member long enough to reach the surface of the hermetic sealing member heat sealed to the opening at the time of initial screwing is provided at the inside of the second skirt part of the cap dangling from the inner top face of the cap, and the spout main body and the cap are provided with a tamperproof mechanism. |
