摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the whole of processing relating to the formation of image for an object within a virtual three-dimensional space, without the need to dispose a substitute model in the virtual three-dimensional space. SOLUTION: A virtual three-dimensional space containing positions 20a, 20b where a model is to be disposed is set. By performing a geometrical processing such as see-through projection conversion, the virtual three- dimensional space (actually, apexes of each polygon existing in the virtual three-dimensional apace) is converted to a visual point coordinate system of a virtual camera. In that case, since a position where the model is to be disposed is one point, a geometrical processing is applied to the one point to determine a position for insertion for a model image of the model. The model image is drawn (colored) based on position coordinates of the determined visual point coordinate system, while each object (polygon) present in the virtual three- dimensional space is colored, whereby a rendering process is performed to produce a display image data per one frame.
