PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant/filter of a gas generator for an air bag which is easily manufactured and reduces the manufacturing cost while solving problems of a conventional technology and ensuring the sufficient working safety of the gas generator. SOLUTION: The coolant/filter of the gas generator for the air bag is provided in a housing for cooling and/or purifying the working medium for inflating the air bag, and formed in a cylinder with wire nets laminated thereon, and has the pressure loss of 9.8-980 Pa with the flow rate of 1000 liter/minute at 20 deg.C.
