<p>PURPOSE:To skip quickly and exactly to a desired recording part by discriminating an unrecorded part by utilizing not only a control signal but a video signal and an audio signal. CONSTITUTION:When a VTR is started by a reproducing mode, a computer 10 discriminates 3 whether a control signal exists or not, from input information of a head 1, shifted to a search mode when said signal does not exist, discriminates 6 a video signal (vertical synchronizing signal) from an input of a head 4 when said signal exists, continues a reproducing mode when it exists, discriminates 9 a signal of a head 7 when it does not exist, continues the reproducing mode when it exists, and shifted to the search mode when it does no exist. An unrecorded part is discriminated by a logical operation of three signals of control, video and audio, therefore, a part in which only the control signal is recorded is skipped automatically and efficiently, and also, the device is migrated to the search mode, and can be migrated quickly and exactly to a video and audio signal recording part whose reproduction is desired.</p> |
