The ski has a spring elastic section set in the area of the middle third of the length of the ski i.e. where the skier stands. At least two rows of oblong holes (1a,1b) which have a rectangular cross-section are mounted one above the other at right angles to the vertical axis of symmetry. The holes of two adjoining rows are longitudinally off-set relative to each other by half the length division (a). The end of the holes (1a) of the first row covers the end of the hole (1b) of -the adjoining row whereby pretensioned spring elastic elements (2) are inserted in the holes (1a,1b). USE/ADVANTAGE - This design prevents water from collecting between the top and bottom of the ski and also prevents transverse motions of the upper part of the ski relative to the lower part.
