The invention relates to a device for release of aerial towed targets, by means of which a cloth target (1) after firing can be separated from a tow cable (3). When this occurs, a second target indicating body (11) may be developped, which in advance may be packaged in a pack bag (9). In order to perform said automatic release an intermediate piece (14) is provided which may be located at or inside said pack bag (9). The intermediate piece (14) is arranged in such a way that the two portions, from which it is constructed, are separated or released from each other when the separating force is greater than or is below predetermined values. When these portions are separated, the first towed target (1) is released and removed from the towing cable and simultaneously said pack bag (9) may be opened by means of said intermediate piece (14). |
