PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a moving vehicle configured in consideration of workability in inspection and maintenance, and having a compact structure capable of efficiently using a space including an operation seat. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for the moving vehicle, an air conditioning unit 30 is provided with a partition wall 32 partitioning a casing 31 of a nearly rectangular parallelepiped into a front chamber and a rear chamber C, and a partition wall 33 partitioning the front chamber into left and right chambers A, B. The front left chamber A and the front right chamber B are provided with fans 36, 37, while the unit 30 is installed with a single electric motor 35 penetrating the partition wall 33 and driving the fans 36, 37 to form an air course X and an air course Y. The air course X enters the rear chamber C through the rear side wall face, passes the front left chamber A from the rear chamber C through an opening part 32a of the partition wall 32, and goes out of an opening part 31b formed in the left side face of the easing 31. The air course Y enters the front right chamber B through the right side wall face of the casing 31, and goes out of an opening part 31d formed in the front side face of the casing 31. By forming the air course X disposed with a condenser 39 and the air course Y disposed with an evaporator 43, the narrow space is effectively used, so that the air conditioner becomes compact. |
