PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the fixing properties of ink deteriorate, ink does not adhere or a formed image is stripped when a foreign matter, e.g. dust, or an oily stain is present on the surface of a recording member or the surface of the recording members is stained badly. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recorder for writing on a recording member with ink by moving an ink jet head part relatively to the recording member, a cleaning head part 21 for removing stain from the recording member is arranged to be replaced by the ink jet head part. The cleaning head part 21 comprises a part 22 for blowing solvent to the recording member, a part 23 for wiping off the solvent and stain on the recording member, and a part 24 for drying the solvent on the recording member. |
